Predictive Maintenance London
One of London’s leading predictive maintenance companies.
Predictive maintenance involves monitoring equipment over time for conditions that indicate impending failure, determining whether corrective action is required and, if necessary, taking action before equipment failure. Predictive maintenance (PdM) is especially important to power generation facilities because so many are operating beyond their predicted lifespan.
The use of infra-red technology can be employed in a variety of scenarios across a wide range of different industries for fault finding and predictive maintenance. The following is an example of the fields in which Building Response have worked.
Predictive Maintenance Using Thermography
At Building Response, our IR Thermographers identify critical components and systems, determine how often they need to be monitored, set up inspection routines and schedules, and regularly measure key indicators. A baseline inspection is required in order to have a reference point for comparison between later findings and the original condition. We then compare measurements over time, looking for changes in operating conditions that could indicate potential breakdowns.
Our qualified Thermographers are available year round to inspect components and measure key indicators which may fluctuate or become problematic with seasonal change. We often conduct quarterly surveys as part of a thermographic PdM routine schedule, providing the client with a professional report for their records.
